Wildfires can happen on their own without humans at all, they are fires that happen when both the air and land are very dry. Wildfires can only be found in Chaparral Ecosystems, because they are dry and hot in the summer, cold and wet in the winter. They are usually caused by lightning strikes, but they can also be caused by humans because of campfires and things like that. The wildfires usually happen in California, parts of the Mediterranean Basin, Chile, South Africa, and Australia because they have Chaparral Ecosystems and that means they have the temperature and things to make a lot of wildfires. Wildfires can be really bad for a lot of reasons.
Wildfires are very bad because first of all, they can hurt a lot of people and animals. Wildfire can hurt people because it is a kind of fire that is uncontrollable, and when it burns, the houses near it will also get burned with the other things. If there is somebody in the house, then it will kill or injure that person, and if there is a dog, it will still cause injury or death which we do not want and do not like. It will also kill the animals and plants beside it. There are even some plants, like certain shrubs, that help the fire spread and help it hurt more living things. Wildfires are really dangerous and they kill people.
Secondly, it will use a lot of resources to stop the fire to save the people. When there is a wildfire, and someone’s house is burnt, they will have to find another house or rebuild it, and that takes up people's energy and some more resources like wood, brick and other materials that are mandatory in a house. It wastes our energy and it takes away a lot of water. Places like California already have a lot of problems with water and when there is a wildfire it takes up a lot of water. In California there are lots of wildfires and also lots of droughts. Wildfires make us lose a myriad of resources to try to stop them and the fire burns resources.
Additionally, wildfires cause air pollution which is really bad for the health of the general population. Wildfires cause air pollution because they burn and make a lot of smoke. When the smoke goes into the air, people breathe in the smoke and can sometimes choke on it. In addition, the smoke will last for a long time because nobody can capture it. Unfortunately, once there is smoke, it will stay there for a long time. Wildfires can make pollution even worse when they grow because there will be more smoke and it will last much longer and cover a larger area.
In conclusion, wildfires are really bad and they hurt people, waste energy, and cause very bad air pollution. They can also do a lot of different bad things to human society. They can hurt a lot of people, animals, and the environment in general. It is important for people to do as many things as they can to prevent wildfires. To prevent wildfires you should make sure that your campfire and cigarettes are completely put out. Since wildfires are so dangerous, you should always keep an eye out and listen to the news to make sure you avoid any fires in your area.
