Why do we learn about Storms?

There are many storms in the world. For example, tornado, hailstone, thunderstorm, hurricane, and blizzard. Each storm can bring hurt or damage. But humans are so tiny when we face nature.  We can’t prevent the storms. But we can learn them and study to protect ourselves. When the storm is coming, we can have enough devices or safe places to stay and protect ourselves.
