The Tiny Seed written by Eric Carle talks about a seed that encountered a lot of dangers in its life cycle. It may be drowned in the ocean or frozen in an icy mountain. When it is landed, there are risks like a mouse or bird eating it or getting picked by a kid. Some seeds may grow into big plants and their seeds go sailing again.
Everything has its own lifecycle. Every life will grow from small to big. Animals may have babies and plants may spread seeds. The end of every life is death. In the story, the tiny seed grew into a big plant and a giant flower, but it still died. After it died, its seeds got loose and started sailing in the wind. As you can see, nothing is immortal and will die at some point.
Life is full of risks, but we still need to be brave and never give up. Everyone needs food, water…to live, but dangers like fire, flood, and tornado may hurt you. In the story, the tiny seed encountered dangers like getting burned, drowning, falling on a desert, and being stepped on. But the seed still made it through the dangers. Therefore, if we encounter a risk, keep going and don’t give up.
Being slow might not be bad. Everyone has their own pace, they don’t need to rush themselves. In the story, the tiny seed is slow but it grows for a long time and it finally grows into a big plant and spreads its own seeds. It is good to keep our own pace even if others are faster than us. So, never rush and it’s Ok to be slow.
Clearly, the tiny seed went through its life cycle and encountered many risks and dangers. Even though it grew slowly, it never stopped. Finally it became a huge plant, grew into a giant flower, and spread its seeds. Every life has a similar life cycle. Animals and plants may have their own next generations and they may have a wonderful life before the final stage of their life.
