The librarian's job is to sign stories from the books. There are activities in the deaf school, such as making up stories. They help Mom cook Mexican meals at home. Mom's Aunt works as a teacher’s helper in the same school, which means they are also deaf. Rosina has a big family, and most of them are deaf.
Rosina's school is the same as my school. In Rosina's school, she learns language, reading, writing, art, and math. She plays sports and listens to stories. They have library class. They make up story, draw all the pictures, make them into a book ,and publish the book. In our school,w e also learn the same subjects as Rosina does: reading, writing, art, and math. We also play sports and listen to stories. We have library class, too. we also lean how to knit and play flute and publish a book.We both play with our friends and enjoy fun things at school. We both go to school to learn and grow. Rosina’s school is no different from my school.
Rosina’s life is the same as ours. Rosina has a big family, she has her parents, siblings, grandparents, aunt, and uncle. Her father's family was among the first Spanish people that came to New Mexico. That was500 years ago.She helps her mom cook at home and plays chess with her dad. They use sign language to talk to each other. I have a big family, my grand grand father’s family moved from the middle of china to the south of China, because of war. I also help my mom do chores at home and play chess with my dad, too. We also communicate with our family. We both have big families, and we both enjoy our lives too. Our lives are the same.
Deaf people’s lives are like ours. Their kids go to school because they need to have an education in school, and learn the same subjects. The adults can get a job, get married, and have babies. Our kids go to school for education, and the adults find a job, get married, and have babies. too. With the job, both of us can make a living. We can have a personal life. We can have a marriage and normal life, even babies. As long as they can have same education , job, marriage and babies, they can ejoy their lives. The deaf can do anything as normal people, and their lives are the same as ours.
