Is Wild Fire Good or Bad? - Negative

   Wildfire is a kind of fire that burns and spreads in forests. It could be natural or manmade. A wildfire, forest fire, or a bushfire is an unplanned, uncontrolled and unpredictable fire in an area of combustible vegetation.  Depending on the type of vegetation present, a wildfire may be more specifically identified as a bushfire (in Australia), desert fire, grass fire, hill fire, peat fire, prairie fire, vegetation fire, or veld fire. Some natural forest ecosystems depend on wildfire. Wildfires are different from controlled or prescribed burning, which are carried out to provide a benefit for people. Modern forest management often engages in prescribed burns to mitigate fire risk and promote natural forest cycles. However, controlled burns can turn into wildfires by mistake. From this, we could see that wildfires are really scary, so I’ll bring out my idea, I think wildfires are bad.  

   Wildfire is a great harm to When a forest fire burns, the whole forest will not survive anymore. The whole mountain or forest is full of trees, if it is full of trees and wood and leaves, means that it is full of fuels. We need to know that if there are a lot of fuels, the fire will not stop. If the fire does not stop, a lot of animals and plants in the mountain will be killed. After the fire is covered, the whole mountain will become a place like a desert, there is nothing but black smoke and the things that are left over. How bad will it be, a forest that once was full of energy and green, now becomes a gloomy place. Most of the wildfires are caused by humans, so the plants and animals have no reason to be harmed by the disaster that humans have caused.  This is a really big and important damage, the whole forest is damaged.

   Plants and animals are not the only thing that wildfire harms, another big group that it harms is human. What could we think of wildfire harming humans? people camping and suddenly wildfire spreads around and burns that human or scientist studying in the mountains and forests and gets burned. These are really harmful things to happen. But, these are just individuals, let's think about what will happen if the fire burns into towns beside them. A town may contain hundreds of people or even more. The wildfire that killed the most people is 2009 black saturday bushfire in Victoria claimed by 173 humans. So, we can see the harm that wildfire causes to humans is also really big. Another group of people that wildfire harms is the firefighters, they risk to save the mountain, then the wildfire may also kill them. This is the second reason why I think wildfires are bad. 

  Wildfires may also affect the economy. The wildfires may cause economic downturns and other economic effects. For example, wood and trees are one of the main fuel resources of people. Camp fires, cooking or air conditioners may all use wood for the main source of fuels. When a wildfire burns, all the energy will be gone. Wood is a kind of potential energy, when using it, humans can change it to Kinetic energy. But wildfire already changed the potential energy into kinetic energy so humans could no longer use or collect the energy. Nowadays, the energy resource is already not enough, especially those fuels. so, forest fires will decrease the number of fuels even more. Now, let's talk about the cause of this. This will cause a lot of wood stores or big sellers to have no things to sell and a lot of buyers will also have nothing to buy. 

  In conclusion, I think wildfire is a really bad thing because it harms animals, plants and other living organisms. Harm humans, harm the economy. Wildfire harms the animal and the living organisms by burning them or making them dead by smoke. The wildfire could burn the  whole mountain of plants and animals. First, plants can't move so if fires touch them, they will turn into gray powder immediately. Even though animals can move, the speed that fire spreads is much faster than the speed they run. So, nearly no animal or plants can get out of this scary forest. The second reason is about humans. I separated them into three groups, people that are in the mountains, town citizens, firefighters. The people that are in the mountains will get the same result as animals because they can’t run faster than wildfires. The people that are in towns may live but will also get damaged. The third is the people that are firefighters. they may die when rescuing other people. The third thing is that it could cause economic downturns. One of the main uses is wood, and the fire burned it all. So, buyers and seller have nothing to buy and sell
