Rainforests are found near the equator, which is an imaginary line that runs east to west around the Earth. There is a lot of sunlight, abundant rainfall, and high temperatures and humidity all year long. There are thousands of animal species and even more plant species! These species are all distributed among the three layers of a rainforest. The top layer is called the canopy, the middle layer is called the understory, and the bottom layer is the forest floor. The canopy has tall mature trees, frogs, monkeys, and birds. The understory has bushes, growing trees, reptiles, and small climbing animals. On the forest floor, there are vines, shrubs, mosses, ferns, flowers, and large predator animals, such as jaguars. I do think I can survive in a rainforest.
There are many things in the rainforest, including food and many other resources for shelter. By having food, including papayas, bananas, and avocados, you wouldn’t have to be hungry if you could find them. There are not only these fruits, but also many other types of nuts and berries! Building a shelter is easy, too. Although there are fewer natural shelters, like caves, you can build one by yourself. By just collecting twigs, sticks, and leaves on the ground, you can make a small hut, which would be just enough for a shelter. This is why finding food and building shelters is very easy in the rainforest with common experience.
Not only are there plants in the rainforest, but also lots of animals. If you are quick and nimble enough to catch one, it could become your pet, so you wouldn’t be lonely anymore. Animals, like sloths, macaws, and toucans, can be great pets if you can catch them with a trap. Although they do not really help you with your problems, you would not feel lonely by yourself in the rainforest because of your pets accompanying you. As a result, you can feel less lonely when you have a pet that is always with you.
By staying organized and noting the everyday tasks can help yourself stay efficient and have more free time. Planning out what to do every day allows your time to be split evenly on doing specific tasks at a specific time. Being organized like this could only make your day better by separating the essentials and the entertainment. It allows you to get your important things done first, and then comes the entertainment. This is important when you are living in the rainforest, because physiological needs need to be done first before esteem and freedom.
In conclusion, the rainforest is full of plants and animals, which you can take advantage of. Some plants are edible, like the ones that contain berries and nuts. The sticks on the ground could be used to build a shelter. Birds and other animals could become your pets if you could catch them. However, the most important thing is organization. Noting down the everyday tasks, essentials, and entertainment could make your day a lot easier. As a result, I think I can survive in the rainforest.
