Billy Coleman saved up a lot of money to buy two little hounds. Every single day he will hunt with his hounds for coons. Old Dan was an adventurous hound who, many times, would have definitely lost his life if it was not that Little Ann helped him. After a few weeks of hunting and training, Billy and his hounds had built great relationships. His hounds were very obedient and very energetic. The weird thing about Billy’s dogs is that they would not hunt if they were not together or if they were not hunting with Billy. One day, Billy met the mean Pritchards. He accidentally killed Rubin, the Pritchard boy, when he was trying to keep Rubin from killing his dogs. As Billy’s hounds grew more experienced, Billy led them to a hound competition. There, when his dogs were hunting, they were trapped in a blizzard. Grandpa’s ankle was sprained. He was aided and Billy got a golden cup for winning first. After the competition, he kept hunting with his hounds, but one day they were killed when they were hunting. Billy buried them in a graveyard.
Always remember your goal and do not give up easily; be consistent and one day you will get rewarded. When you keep it up, you take consistent effort, which will eventually transform into an award or praise. Billy keeps hunting the coon during the competition, even if it is a fatal blizzard; he soon gets a first-place-golden trophy. Billy got the trophy because of his immense effort of hunting in such conditions and maintaining his grip on his plan. Keep up with your idea and plan; someday your efforts can turn into rewards.

Creativity is important to make the achievements that you want; it can boost your productivity and help you overcome challenges. Creativity is a great way to energize your mind; it can help you come up with more new ideas and get you ready for challenges. Billy’s grandpa told Billy about how to catch coons using just some household products. Billy’s grandpa had the creativity to search for ideas on how to catch the coons. Creativity is always vital for thinking of new ideas; it can also keep your mind busy.
In summary, the story talks about how Billy Coleman and his hounds have worked together to hunt down many coons and to win a competition. Consistency is a major part of the story when Billy continues to keep his dogs hunting in the blizzard for the coon during the competition even though it is fatal.
